I'd think 156p a tad on the mean side, too.
Maybe he’s waiting for the IPO price? Be silly not too eh?
Hi AJA5 et al,
Thanks for clarifying ! I see that my decimal point was out on both sides and a reality check would have shown that the GBP 240K was wrong. You guys obviously deal with bigger shareholdings than my own.
Thanks also to Mitch984 for the comment re possible understatement of Everitt's costs re RNS 1 (threshold crossed after a falling s/p), so maybe 14p is a bit mean.
However, the underlying original point - that Everitt is close to being back 'in the money' - remains.

I'll be honest, that kind of holding/buying 17,000,000 shares (last 6 months) here and a boat load in FLYB. Highly likely there is more behind that kind of buying than your average PI. IMO
The only RNS' you can be sure of are #2 and #3 as regards average price paid. For the first RNS he could have been buying shares for a long period of time, perhaps even back to the 25p post licence days, as he didn't have to file a RNS until he exceeded 3%.
His average therefore could be much higher than the 14p quoted. It's still a significant wad of money though!
Being in excess of £2 million out a factor of 10 in your calculations as corrected by another poster!
I asked you to check your maths. It was quite clearly Diane Abbott or Gordon Browns calculator being used
17m shares at 14p is not £240k it’s £2.38m 17000000 x 0.14 = 2,380,000 It’s a massive amount of dough and not just your normal pi amount. Hope that helps.
Hi AJA5,
I've found that it's usually more productive an exchange if a disagreement is accompanied by a reasoned counter-argument or explanation of where you believe an error has occurred : simply saying 'you're wrong' doesn't advance the discussion at all.
I've done you (and the board) the courtesy of showing the workings that support my comment, perhaps you'd care to do the same ? That way, everyone's the wiser.

Extrader...did you go to school with Gordon Brown??
Are you using his calculator???
I would check your maths, you a mile out!
Hi shaun86,
If you look at Everitt's 3 x holding RNS's, he reported 3.22%/9.2M shares around 2/7, when the price was abt 10.25; 4.09% / another 2.6M shares (to 4.09%) 27/7 when the price had been rising to around 15p; and a final 5.5M shares (taking him to 6.01%) on 23/8 when the s/p had a further run-up to around 20p.
Total 17.3 M shares. If you assume , conservatively, that he bought all at the highest, threshold point, that works out at a cost of around GBP 240K, for an avge holding cost of 14p. It's likely to have been lower than that, in practice.
He's probably close to b/even by now, so (apart from opportunity cost considerations) can await developments in a pretty relaxed frame of mind, whilst he waits for his more recent FLYB punt (where he seems to be just in the money) to deliver.

All this blowing off sounds very permissive !
I think it went through here:

You’ve noticed as well No1... the tides a changing... any day now... let’s wait for snotty to come back with his cutting and pasting skills!
Come on Val... don’t ignore me... have you done it yet? Come on, come on... I’d hate to think youre bu******g to sort ya shorts out. And before anyone else jumps in... it’s more obvious than mr obvious the obvious man from obviousville what’s been happening recently...
Anyway... come on let’s see that big sell.
Hey Val I think thats a great idea... sell all of your holding. Ive a large buy waiting to place but eveything south of a certain amount goes to NT... I’m wanting to get in before the close so hurry up...
being at 6.01% he would have to notify if he sold any, that should speak volumes that someone is holding 6% of this company and didn't sell any in the recent run up to 26p.. and continued to hold when it went back down to 10p..
Yeah I was wondering if 'Keith' has returned too.
A holding RNS would do nicely
A buyer is mopping up sells, expect a run to 20p+ next week.....possibly a lot higher with the news due.
I wonder if 'Everitt' is back for more?...
adios
I wouldn't do that if I were you... infact I'm not doing that - I'm keeping an equal value and slicing and topping up as needed so to do... but good luck anyway
Sell limit in...will dump my shares.....
