LOL maybe they can all discuss it together when they are roomies !
I disagree, They will probably have more of a chance. Ha
They can change the name of the company but they can't change the names of the people who run it. As much chance of raising money as Bernie Madoff or Alan Stanford !
That with the bonus taken and little turnover being shown that this is being geared up to be dumped and re-started under a new company debt free. Hope I am wrong....
The scene on Dragons Den. So what's your income over the last few years? - about 10k. How much do you pay yourself out of the business - £220k up from £120k last year. And for that reason.....
Thanks for the replies. So you still think they might relist at some stage then alli? Even if they do would anyone risk investing in them with all that has happened? I guess if some how they come up with the deal of the century we might get something back here one day. Short of a big investor sticking in a few million quid in the pot though I can't really imagine it. Shame really, sounded like they had a few good deals up and running, just came too late! Oh well just have to sit and wait, and wait, and wait some more I guess!
My guess is that the company will re-list ahead of the next football season but not anytime soon. If it is to survive at all, it will have to re-list with proper financing in place and new deals agreed. If it doesn't relist by August, I think we can assume WGP is finished. A classic case of innovative technology being woefully mismanaged on a commercial scale. I only hope that the CEO has some credibility left in the business, but he has a lot of convincing to do- starting with investors.
A standard listing can be suspended indefinitely subject to payment of listing fees.
Is there any limit to how long this can be suspended or can it just go on indefinitely?
whoops. I won't be getting a job as a typist! WGP i meant.
I am sure there is a place for a man/woman with your style and tenuous link to reality at WGL still. How is the weather in the Isle of Sheppey by the way?
very good out here in St Barts...mind you the rum punches are sensational ...waiter another round please !!! thought when someone said listing they meant the old boat was rocking too much !! tally ho pugwash !!
Managed to speak with the one and only Mr Riches....?
I mught have impied that the legal people do not like companies to trade when they cannot meet thier liabilities as and when they are due....
what did it say... (can you finger puppet language to explain??)
As expected....my post was deleted....
I would think it unwise to hold ones' breath!
Has anyone got any idea when Worldlink will re list if at all?
Very interesting Bingoblob. I wonder if that is a case of WGP appointing him because of this issue, despite this issue or without knowledge of it. For a bona fide PLC company, you would think that appointing him is another error in judgement. However, having read the Accounts, I am almost willing to believe they specifically want his type of 'creativity' to move forward. Maybe it is just an oversight.
Just been sent the "CV" of the newly appointed Company Secretary of Worldlink Group appointed December 2012. Pages 42-44 of this document show his glowing credentials http://www.icaew.com/~/media/Files/About-ICAEW/What-we-do/protecting-the-public/disciplinary-orders/7-july-2011.pdf Congratulations to the Board for such an outstanding appointment !! Where can i buy shares please, as many as possible !
http://www.filedropper.com/accounts-06448562 Looks like these are the accounts if anyone interested.
at least the authorities have something in black and white to get their teeth stuck into. Cant be long before an official investigation takes place now. Evidence speaks for itself !
At least have the decency to create your own identity when you post instead of ............................. As shareholders we are all extremely disheartened with the current proceedings.
