Mid tier ?!
Bit like the share price sat at 24p
Year low 14p - last year's AGM 32p - mid way
Maybe Zac is 'perplexed' why the buys are not rolling in with these big tanks
On X this morning of the tanks being installed at the Andrews1 well. They certainly don't look like they are there to take 20 bopd 😂. So looking forward to hearing what the actual oil flow rates are how much gas is being produced. Well done Union Jack 💪
GP, never mind that aim divis don't reach 10%. Don't we aspire to more than an average aim oiler?
Zac Phillips nailed it today when he said the board were 'perplexed' about dividends meaning... completely baffled; very puzzled. Like you pointed out consolidation price 32p actual price approx 24p
Are the board really being strategic enough regarding attracting new investors ?! Hmmmm.
Proof in the pudding, consolidation price 32p actual price approx 24p, well done board you have exceeded expectations.
Lovely post Herbert, thank you. You are right, the board of Union Jack DO deserve respect, not the abuse, harassment and personal insults that Heid in the main inflicts on them. Unlike her who proclaims to be a geologist now, Graham Bull has decades of experience and hardly needs a youtube student telling him how to read a core result. As with David, half a century in the oil business being told how to run Union Jack as if he was just out of college. David is shrewd, he is sensible, he is endeavouring to create a success out of what is one of the most difficult sectors, made even more difficult in the past few years. It is a testament to his experience and dedication that the company is profitable, debt free and moving forward in ways most little oilers could only dream of. This venture into the US is a strategic move that has very likely saved the company from being eaten up by the energy profits levy, Net Zero and the total disdain shown by this government and certainly the next if it is Labour.
I would like to express my appreciation for anyone that votes in my polls.
I am pretty chuffed that 30 of you take the time to engage an some of my results are great to see what you all think an not just the work of some of these paid PR men that you can spot a mile off.
If I do annoy you though then is is simple to filter me. Your call.
Good job Zac, you did very well today but not so sure you pulled in the punters.
Anyone can steer the ship, but it takes a leader to chart the course
24p is not good enough.
Heid, ANY view but yours is "blinkered" and your polls attract the same 30 people every time so the outcome will in general, be the same. How they are important you anyone even you amazes me. Everyone on here in general would prefer the company to invest in building the assets and revenues, ensuring better dividends can be made on a regular basis as soon as the company is stable with a solid income that wouldn't be affected in any way with well downtime. You are not, imo, going to get anywhere near your 0.06p demand, you will be lucky to get more than .02. If that upsets you then great, you are doing uour best every day to pi55 off every genuine shareholder, probably including your 'shareholder family' if the truth be known. David is steering this ship in the right direction and there aren't any icebergs in the way as far as I can see.
My polls are important to me when I have something to get out an there an see other people's thoughts.
I am not just like your generic Malcy or ShareTalk...I like to give my honest views here whether some like it or not an not just regurge an RNS.
You put Biscathorpe on your list, that will never be drilled now
You said "Hopefully !!!!!! WN might get drilled and commercial one day, but with the stupid taxation, then why rush.'
Sorry, but this is a really blinkered view with the value of the gas at West Newton an David can claim lots of tax back on that project too
Looking forward to the annual report next to see some of the detail.
I think David will look a right stingy old man if it is 0.20p
It is clear that the share price is 'slowly' rising an as I said earlier I do not think Zac gave it enough to attract new investors yet.
It is all well an good drilling wells for months an months but share holders want returns too, not just the board who are guaranteed their salaries.
Why buybacks are no where to be seen is equally a mystery when David could have done very well from 14p an up.
Hey ho...put me on the board.
I cant believe how crack pot this BB has got recently.
I used to appreciate some good info and quite often logic (Ok some negative morons have been filtered)!
But there's an obsession about dividends and "one up man (woman) ship" and what the BOD should or shouldn't do.
Dividends great but under control and maybe after interim and final results, just like a big company !!.
Maybe .25p interim & .5p final/share, so about £800k/year so nothing too drastic and its maintainable and has growth potential year on year using UK & US profits.
We should still have more than enough cash to drill several wells in America/year and assuming most are producers, which we seem to be well informed with "Reach" so far, then they should be self funding, in not a lot of time and after a few then these alone should cover the dividends whilst we wait for the stupid British government(s) to wake up and be self energy protected without killing the Goose with the golden eggs.
Hopefully !!!!!! WN might get drilled and commercial one day, but with the stupid taxation, then why rush.
Biscathorpe, Keddington and Pen##stone can be funded if and when needed.
Yes this is frustrating but again why rush when the bloody suicidal policy's of Conservative and Labour both undermine developing UK PLC.
Ok stick a load of Solar Panels and Wind farms about, from the Oil revenues rather than the usual wasteful taxation and if the government(s) said we will give you 100% tax relief on developing renewables by the company producing oil if invested in green energy then this would also be a cushion against reduction in oil revenues by either less oil production or drop in demand.
We all realistically know Oil production will be around for a long time but on a declining supply and demand and oil will be think of a treble maybe quadruple number one day (a few years to well past my lifetime)
This is a good company. It is held back by slow development (Egdon, Reabold, Councils & Government)
We could do with a regular reasonable dividend of a few % of SP 3-6% is ok, boring but OK. Maybe even increase to quarterly, but lets get to twice a year first.
The BOD maybe getting on a bit, but give then the respect they deserve. Maybe 1 decent producer currently but its better than most juniors. Maybe relatively high wages for the SP/decline , but that's not only they're fault. I'm sure if we had half a dozen American well's producing and more developing (without the tax) in the UK, then we would be happier with the wage bills.
So give a bit more time for flow rates at Andrews 1 and fingers crossed for Andrews 2-3 &4 +
Please Heid, I do like you but the Poll's are not needed, it's just an ego trip.
Christine I like you as well and I like your thoughts and I do not think you are TAC unless you've changed your writing style.
Karen, laughing at your frustration, but I appreciate it.
Anyway I'm not trying to offend anybody, just making a point, No more characters left to w
I really hope the dividend is .02 or less just to give you another 3000 posts opportunity Heid. X
Yeah but share price needs to be wonderful too.
Work in progress an take off the rose tinted glasses.
Company putting in so much effort to succeed for shareholder's as Union Jack. Great communicative X account, management with years of experience, lots of regular news flow, some great assets and some wonderful forward thinking.
#UJO Share price still below last year's AGM 32p. Dividends perplex the board; quite simple reward us with at least 0.60p. Restart buybacks an stop fannying around. Keep it balanced with drills !
@OG_Advisors @ofarrellj
It was very interesting but it was a shame we are so near the annual report as there was a lot he could not discuss. He admitted that dividends are very perplexing. Share buy backs I sent a question as to why they stopped at last year's AGM yet we are far cheaper now. I would'nt say he sold Union Jack to any new investors listening in as some of it was rather blah blah an in the pipeline. Interesting he spoke of West Newton as being drilled this year. I jolly well hope Reabold will be RNS'ing funding soon if that is the case. The Andrew's well I would say is in a 150BOPD area an it was a shame Zac would not even be transparent on the intentions of drilling another well/side track there as the target was clearly hit at a higher depth. The future is bright, no doubts, but this is still a slow burner.
By Zac on the Sidoti event, he did a marvellous job representing the company . Explained very clearly how they work out the dividend payments too., ensuring they can meet all their obligations. Loved to see all the major companies we have the mineral royalties with, impressive names on the screen. Lets hope for some US investors looking in on the company soon 💪
Final results are in for the hottest chick on the dividend vote
Check out my X profile piccy for the result
Monty Moo an Mr Lion looking forward to Zac's presentation starting soon
Any update from her in the last 3yrs?
Thank God we don't have a 'Stripper Well'.
Worth a read

I could live with that
I dont think it would make a lot of difference for shareholders (not sure about the tax implications), however it would allow the company to keep the cash for other things eg the US. the downside would be more shares in circulation but with UJO on an upwards trajectory, I doubt a couple of million extra shares is a big deal
