If we go from the assumption
Today 09:54
that there is not some dark, machiavellian scheme running in the background to keep the share price artificially suppressed by any manner of means, then it wouldn't surprise me if we see a slight upturn in the share price as we head into August.

The good thing about this walk in the dark is that no-one knows what's going on behind the scenes and the possibility of resource figures being quietly worked on in the background might tempt people not to miss out, especially at this dire price.

A ripe rumour or two will set this going.

so many people likely under water so it's gone a bit stagnant.. not a lot selling at these levels, not enough buying to create some excitement! gonna need to wait until sample news or JORC news to get this moving

Yes, try Australian websites as there is a better chance it will be cut there rather than in some back street sweat shop in the far East. Bought my wifes sapphire stone there ...well cut and good price !

I really wish I had funds to buy a sizeable amount more. Get the feeling that it would be twice beneficial, once because at the end of the day I still think this is a good investment, and seeing the numbers you post it feels like if one had funds to say several fold increase the amount of buys in a day it might give the SP the boost it needs to start grabbing more peoples attention

Of course the risk with that is a bunch of people selling into the rise or the project coming up short

Once again MMs happy to take millions of shares at this price. Despite that, sales are scarce. Only real news will shift this sp, not the geological runes we have again been fed today. BA, get a move on and don't embarrass yourself any further.

I'll cling onto anything, me.

Even a dodgy anecdote.

But I think you'll turn out to be right in the end.

I'd compare our current situation with an artist slowly working on a painting. At the moment BA is simply doing the outline and not adding any colour. It doesn't matter how impressive the outline looks or how big the potential is, the fact of the matter is no-one is buying it until we see a bit of colour in there.

Pretty rubbish anecdote actually, now I think of it. Just trying to cling onto something.

Mark my words gentleman 1p by the AGM then...... This is based on a JORC and clear plan relating to the mining of stuff in ground, plant, joining Birimian. I honestly believe BA is looking to beat Birimian to building a plant, he is updating us through a RNS, so what if the f ing sp does not go up, that's not his fault. It's the end result I'm interested in. It's quality JORC etc.

Time will tell and I may eat my hat, but we have all taken our chances and there's nothing to be gained by being overly negative. Frustrating yes but Virtue dear fellows. I agree whole heartedly with BA if nothing has really changed by the AGM, that is the time to put BA in the spot. Let's make sure as many of us attend, because trust me I will .....

we may need to learn from ANGS, as they kicked the company boss out of office for wrong doing. we may still have some power!! are we the minority now. the last placement tells it all. the Boss is fully confident he is backed by the majority to serve their interests. their interests are in a higher sc, unless they receive something under the table.

Ta-trade, the rule is that if SC were to cross the 30% ownership threshold they are obliged to make an offer to all shareholders to purchase the lot for a minimum of the highest price paid in the last 12 months.

Looking at the yearly chart, I see two days of the 24th & 28th July both at 0.35p, so this would be minimum. The yearly anniversary of these two dates is however very close, and the SP strated to decline quite steeply after, mini table below to show the minimum price if offers wer to be made:

1 AUG - 0.32
1 SEPT - 0.29
1 OCT - 0.26
1 NOV - 0.24
1 DEC - 0.24
1 JAN - 0.20
1 FEB - 0.20

NOTES HOWEVER TO ENSURE THIS ISN'T A PERCEIVED DERAMP:

-This does NOT mean that the offer has to be accepted, it would go to a vote
-This is a MINIMUM offer, likely is a company would make the offer they believe is the lowest that would be accepted. I reckon there is minimal chance this gets accepted
-This is pure speculation assuming SC increase their shareholding

I view the .13 placing as a total aberration, intended principally to keep SC on side. The .38 investment would be more representative of what SC, armed with its so-called 'due diligence', was prepared to see as reasonable more than a year ago.

To save face, they must continue to believe that the investment at .38 was good value for them. If so, I cannot see them paying any less now, given the benefit of the exploration results published since the original investment. To follow that same logic, why would they pay anything less than .38 if a JORC were to be published in the Autumn? With a JORC, you have to see .50 as an absolute minimum sp on which to base an outright bid.

I think KOD will publish a substantive statement of resource prior to the AGM - date to be announced, but probably early November. If they don't, the AGM will be a difficult one for the BoD. In any event I want a clear statement of SC's intentions. As we head into the Autumn, the market will, I hope, take more of an interest. It would certainly begin to take notice if BA were to commit to a proper timetable of events instead of stringing us along with these exploration results.

Kodal Minerals Hoping For Mineral Resource Estimate By Mid-2018
https://www.londonstockexchange.com/exchange/news/alliance-news/detail/152414678
No information on the test samples sent to china.
It seems the only party getting full information is SC.
They know the JORC, they know the process and they are keen on acquiring more for less. god help us

Ray: No worries.

When I read the RNS this morning, I had the sinking feeling this would have the same effect as previous ones. I don't expect much interest from these results releases and it doesn't take much to figure that out by now.

If preliminary work is being carried out on the resource estimate in August, what might happen is that we see increasing interest and a corresponding strengthening of the sp around that time and into September.

This price will remain good for buying for a while longer I feel (I fear). I will just add some when I can.

Flock, I owe you an apology. It was Nedhammers - on the juice, I guess. My feeling is that BA is prone to being nobbled by the Chinese. If they want a buyout, it will be 'facilitated'. I hope I'm wrong... only true value and potential will do for me - we need to be vigilant.

The volume this morning tells its own story. The market is saying 'No, this is not enough.'

BA, get that JORC out soonest and give the market something to hang its hat on. These exploration RNSs are a case of 'plus ça change'...

Ray: Did I ever suggest 1p would be hit within 6 months? Seems a bit ramptastic for me.

If I did I must have been bevved up. I don't have a problem with the 1p bit, just the 6 months bit. But happy to be proven wrong. If we are at 1p by the end of the year/mid jan I will be delighted. We could get snapped up I suppose.
