Sincerely hope you are correct, but every time I think of the cost of the processing plant I just wonder who would finance it without taking collateral to protect their position.
No doubt I am seeing problems where they do not exist and will try harder to be more optimistic.
Have a good weekend also.

and to cap it all off, some chunky buys at the end of the day, which we like now, don't we? Well, I do anyway. Have a good weekend folks.

James, I agree that multiple issues can still arise but I think we’re on the home straight now. we’ve seen how quick this can move and BA has pointed us to a company we can reference in TAW.

Our neighbours are like a coiled spring at present, as soon as they get an offtake partner or finance they will boom and we will follow as money will be poured into the region.

Also With the Lithium ETF now on the rebound and up again today and being we’re only a few weeks away from the end of the rainy season in Mali, I think news flow and share price will increase.

Well, this is what I hope.

Have a good weekend all.

The patience to wait

Always remember that is easier said than done, when one reflects on recent times what also happened is that BA bought the Company a two year period to bring this mine through production to processing. To the normal shareholder that is quite a long period and many unknowns may happen to disrupt that schedule. For instance not so long ago we had the tree shaking period now we are into the dreaded stagnation.I have often said when becalmed SP`s only go one way, down, and that downward trend if only a trickle hurts many.
The talk of paying for this processing plant even with BA doing the rounds has not enticed anyone into the open, although SC have had full encouragement to do so,II`s have shown no interest that we have been told about and as for forward buying from some unknown party is that realistic when viewed against the ETF graph courteously provided by a fellow poster showing Lithium prices. So taking a commercial approach we are right back in the basement and any buyer that wanted could come steaming in with a buyout offer but none have.It happened at this stage with our neighbour, but there is no enthusiasm to do that here.
There is many a slip between cup and lip and given a two year period do not be surprised if many overtime says I will try my luck elsewhere and come back in a year or so.All this means a reduced SP and a requirement for fortitude if we have a few hiccups to overcome.
I will still be here but felt this needed to be stated.

This will move rapidly, just as our neighbours will. Environmental permit and boom, looks like our neighbours are hiring key positions now.

I agree. .. and I think some forward selling will be part of the 50mil financing..... and I think that will be hammered out once the bulk sample testing de risks the product.... I think the plant will be funded by debt though..... and a 15mil line of debt will require a permit and development plan for the mine .... not just the takeoff agreement. ..... I wonder if the Q1 meeting with the Malian gvt is a fixed date....

Interesting SorB. Our Chairman fielded a question at the AGM about funding the project and he made specific reference to borrowing as the basis on which they were hoping to fund. This was put in the context of proving-up the resource but it does, even now, seem to stack up so why it's not being fastracked, I really don't know. It might just be a case of waiting for a trade deal with China if, as I suspect, the money behind SC/MC is coming from the PRC?

Reference to TAW
Thu 18:16
Looking at TAW as per the reference in the proactive article released today and I’m hoping we go down the same path for financing the project. TAW set a spod sale price of $840 per tonne with their off take partner set period of two years. This seemed to be at a slightly discounted rate but based on that price the offtake partner gave them an upfront payment of $25 million. Come on SC, let’s get this up and running.

Thanks for the reply. A tad optimistic in my opinion but with this share who knows anything anymore. Good luck anyway!

Yeah, 0.13 has great support, cannot see it going any lower. When the 'ask' hits 0.14 or 0.135 I'll be buying.

Tiny...
Thu 13:06
... tiny, volumes massively impacting the SP again. We really do need II's or wealthy, sophisticated, PI's picking these up and giving some stability to the market in this stock. It's a golden opportunity for some body to invest in a great project at bargain basement prices. Try as he might, it doesn't yet seem that BA has been able to get any serious investors on board. Not his fault - as I said at the AGM he's a geologist not a salesman. We need someone with kudos in the City to be selling this. It's OK St Brides opening the doors and creating the opportunities for BA to make his sales pitch (which, generally, I think is quite good - his sincerity shines through) but it obviously isn't working.

Time to whitewash SC's shareholding to allow MC to go over the 30% threshold, methinks. It may be the only answer.

I wouldn't expect II's to get in at this level, far too much volatility for many of them.

Confirmation of what we know really and that BA is a man on a mission. It would be nice to see some ii’s onboard and an impressively update JORC before Christmas. Those getting in at this current price are going to be laughing.

I take it you've bought in now? Or when you said 0.14, did you mean exactly that?

Lithium ETF
Wed 16:39
We have a presentation tomorrow, so hopefully that will bring in some new investors.

Anyone who’s been keeping an eye out for the lithium ETF would have noted that most lithium miners globally have trended down along with the ETF over the past six months. Looks like this has swung around as the ETF has had six straight trading days with gains.

But the next news is imminent... an update on both the last lot of Li assays and, more intriguingly, our gold assets.

Yup, and I got slated for being honest about selling 2/3rds before the JORC.
It's AIM: 'selling the news' is even more pronounced than the main market.
I could buy my 2/3rds back now for a lot less, but I won't. It will drift until the next news is imminent.
I hope to be back in before that, looking like December for me. Then if there is no news it's only around a year to wait for production...so no real downside. Still think I'll get some at 0.14p though, that's what my limit order is in for should it drop intraday.

The old adage "buy on rumour, sell on news" rings true on AIM. Take out your initial stake and let the free ones ride. You might never multi bag but you'll have less risk of losses. Having said that. With the maiden JORC and an off take aggreemt the SP should have easily held its price. This is the second time I've become a LTH of KOD but my last experience tells me that with a bit of averaging down, I'll get my money back. Possibly by Xmas.

I posted a while back that AIM is a trader's market and that trading participants - and I include MMs - are mainly sellers or even shorting, selling into rallies, making highs very spiky, while lows form a prolonged trough pattern between news announcements as traders play a range. None of this pays any regard whatsoever to fundamentals as these are not a trader's concern.

My personal view is that until we have commerciality from a mining operation this pattern will continue. Only when revenue becomes a reality will we be able to value the stock using the normal metrics. In the meantime there is no means of evaluation.

BA's forecast of $50m free cashflow by 2020 is not yet taken seriously. BA is 'looking to' lodge an application for a mining licence in 2Q 2019, but do we know how long that application will take to be approved?
