From May 2016 Highlands, the London listed natural resources company, is pleased to announce that it has increased its holding of uranium acreage in Utah to approximately 1,384.22 acres following the successful acquisition of eight mining claims ('Mining Claims') from Ticaboo Minerals, Inc. ('Ticaboo') in Grand County, which cover a total of 165.28 acres. The acquisition of these additional eight Mining Claims brings the Company's total claims in Utah to 67. Â The Mining Claims cover uranium and all other locatable minerals.

As previously announced, this potential uranium discovery was uncovered following Highlands' evaluation of oil and gas well logs in Utah. Highlands believes that the uranium can be mined via an in-situ mining process. These new Mining Claims are situated between some of the 59 unpatented Mining Claims already acquired by Highlands, making them central to the Company's area of interest and important to defining the extent of the potential in-situ mine. Highlands evaluated a log from a test well located within the Company's Mining Claims, which indicated elevated gamma ray readings exceeding 10,000 API units.

Helios for me has always been the potential game changer but the combination of the lower risk assets HNR has invested in have become significant enough on their own to substantiate a strong company. I’ve been in from the highs and lows and not sold a bean and won’t be for a long time yet.

Couldn’t agree more, they’ve acquired assets at an impressive rate.i’m a Little bit behind you in terms of numbers, but also don’t have any plans to go anywhere right now. Onwards and upwards!

If you consider what Highlands have achieved in the last 6 months if they cash has been mostly spent then so be it. The future value is so strong and remember there are only 116 million ish shares in issue. Like many PIs I’m in for the long haul with my 1%.

Yes the cash burn will be interesting, plus we don’t know what salaries Mata and co are on. Yes I also think Cantor will release after the results.

Yes, an update would be welcome. I’m interested in the official finances that are published later this month. I’ve been looking at the cash raised over the last year plus oil sales up 31st March. I’ve got £8,467,384, plus assuming around 150,000 barrels of oil sold at average of about $65, that’s another £7,367,000, so total amount of money going into the company for the 12 months up to 31st March is just under 16 mill quid. Now bearing in mind we’ve probably burnt through most of this, but this doesn’t include the 5 mill US, nor the ongoing 7.5%, and more importantly our growing portfolio of assets, it just makes the current market cap even more ridiculous. If Canter Fitzgerald ever get their arses in gear and produce a research note, which I would expect after figures published, we should see a serious change in the SP. Looking at any one of out major assets should account for a major redress. Good times to follow - GLA!

Gallini I am sure there will be a detailed update on all ongoing operations before the conference call and he may use that opportunity to include information which will answer some shareholders questions already submitted. Many potential streams seem to be progressing along nicely, looking forward to flow rates from the 6 wells in ED and his intentions for WD, all in good time!

Every RNS appears a good one, it’s producing so has a revenue stream and recent weeks has seized the opportunity to diversify into nitrogen and CO2. The Helium play is still alive andhave a 100% interest in their West Denver play - oh, no debt either. Where is the risk? What is there not to like? I don’t know what the catalyst is to rerate the SP but I’m confident it will happen and that the future looks bright.

Cheshirelad, great post. Newly invested here, only a relatively small holding for now, but seems interesting times ahead for both mid and long term gains. Reduced risk elsewhere and I see this and SML another share I’ve added to as a good low (ish) risk (as you can on AIM) for some long term steady growth. Here’s hoping! Have a great weekend all and glad to be on this board with you all

Good post Cheshire and your not rambling. ....hnr to me is a small company acting like a big company with plenty of credentials. .....the share price most of the time has the volatility of a big company share price but hnr fundamentals/ market cap/ shares in issue means it has the potential of massive gain. .... it's rare and I think you will do well given time

I'm going nowhere, this is a half billion company in making, at least. If the company get's taken over in the future, and that will not happen in the near future, then so be it. Any organic growth in the share price, or, medium to long-term takeover price is going to be far north of where we are today. I've been in two years and happy to wait another three if required. It appears this is a no-brainer and the earlier post regarding dark arts are in play, all that really matters is you have the time and inclination to wait for the future to unfold naturally, I have. Nothing we have seen from the company points to anything underhand on their part, the only thing you could pull them up on was last years placing to the, at this time, undisclosed recipient. You would think come the end of summer early autumn time we should be moving freely at least double where we currently are in sp terms, however, that may not be the case, it's just if you have the guts to trust your instincts, and from what I've seen over the past couple of years I have no reservations and I'm happy to wait it out. Everyone and their particular personal circumstances and trading are different, I'm not offended by daily traders, in the grand scheme of things daily traders are small change to what we are currently seeing now. The current issue and lack of sp movement is because we are illiquid, that will change, and it will happen in the next three years, and at that time I hopefully will be able to say "I'm a millionaire". That dangling carrot is too much to ignore, IMO anyone reading this or being currently on the fence should take heed, there is too much short-termism in the modern society we live and breath. The reason for this being everybody wants something yesterday, this is not helped by the present media obsession of celebrity cultures which is ultimately self-serving in nature, it's seen as a quick fix to success, and I'm sorry but that does not exist, unless you are very very lucky. Ultimately, the approach I've taken of being prepared to wait another three years has the same objective or goal if you like, that being the eventual saving of time being a "millionaire" would provide. Would I be happy though? It would be nice to find out and if I have to wait three more years to answer that question, then so be it, these opportunities do not come along very often.

Apologies for the ramblings it's been a hard tough week in the office......dealing with Investment Managers, I'd prefer not to have deal with them so I aim to practice what I preach and show that success, although it can take a bit of time, can succeed, just like HNR.

GLA LTH

P.S. Disclosure : I have no inside information and none of my clientele have been recommended HNR, or, are invested directly in HNR as far as I know. The Investment Managers I deal with are solely corporate pension fund managers.

Same here, however if RP decides to pull a fast one and does another Primary Bid/warrants debacle then I will be selling up in an instant as I just couldn't take another year of SP manipulation.

Agree it's been a painful time for the share price. I will give it to 2019 & if we're still being manipulated by warrants etc I will revaluate. GL
