We'll not wait Kont.
I did my own research.
Tax Advantages of a Subsidiary
Perhaps the biggest advantage to a parent company of maintaining numerous subsidiaries is the tax and creditor protection benefits. The parent can offset profits from one subsidiary with losses from others
They've also got
Highlands Helium Development Limited (2014)
Highlands Montana Corporation
Zoetic
Highlands Water Resources
All set up when the asset was purchased. I'm sure someone business minded will enlighten us as to why. Probably to circumnavigate taxes if one fails or likewise succeeds(move profit or losses?)
..and someone of the same name is also a director of Brent Natural Resources Limited
DYOR
RP should be on death row then
Gallini, putting it your way he should also be locked up for Aiding and abetting.
Does Eric not just feed the info that he is given as well?
Eric Boyle , his partner in crime should be sacked for helping him spread the lies.
I imagine the rest of the BOD had had enough of his BS too. The day he leaves we discover Montana is not viable! Obviously they were unable to tell the truth whilst he was in charge. RP would have known he was getting pushed out, or 'resigning' so if had planned to sell would have done before the new strategy was announced. If he sells 3% of his 8% we'll be notified. likely Lynas continued selling once his below 3% was TR1'd. Supposedly he claimed he didn't intend to, but wouldn't you?
Or maybe a big investor didn’t like his big unwarranted bonus last year!
Or the IRS or the fact the taxes on ED, big invoices, etc, were being hidden, not acceptable in any company, let alone a listed company!
I can only think that RP had a big fallout with someone and they demanded his head! Doesn’t make sense otherwise.
It is unlikely to be NT so a big investor or someone in Colorado, Direct 8 family perhaps!?
Most likely that 'thing' (RP) is selling now his 8% holding to rise some money and to buy by it some HNR's assets.
It shouldn't be making any profit below 5p and lets hope that it will not rise enough money to buy even DTU patents!
Everything was going good: 2 indoor harvests and 1 outdoor. Secured sales and rapid expansion + OTC listing.
It supposed to be safe and smooth investment and here we go BOOM!
That 'thing' (RP)did all this s*** just like that out of blue.
Why it did this? Any ideas?
Because they are stronger together at least in the short term, until Zoetec is self sustaining!
Garyn, If you read this article Nick say's they might even keep ED if oil prices rise so if Kansas makes or saves them money I don't believe they'll dispose of it.

How on earth can it sell these given how instrumental the gas is to the cannabis operation (at least according to the RNS back in March justifying why they were getting into this business anyway!)
Why not a spin off of Zoetic. Than we have two shares. HNR have income from ED and the gaz and can building the resources. Zoetic can spread their wings and building the income from hemp.
You know when you see those scams online ?
I make $7500 a month working part time from home ! Sign up now and give us your money !
Then you never see your money again....
I see a bit of a similarity here where we've all invested in a natural resources company, with many irons in the fire, only to be told that it's no longer going to be a natural resources company, and the money I invested is now worth about 25% of what I put in...
Is this even legal ?
@ Esski the 8 (eight) wells were being deliberately choked back because of temporary restrictions on the pipeline, so there’s plenty of life & value in the 7.5%
with UK Invesor Magazine.

they paid $5m for 92.5%. only need $400k for the rest on them numbers plus probably get it cheaper than that as remaining wells 3-8 not producing as well as originally planned. the rest is just fodder which RP will buy back
You'd think True Oil would be at the top of the list for ED.
anyone suggesting the balance sheet value is what they would get for these assets is dreaming or misleading. NT although said although there is no fire sale it will be a quick transaction. who is going to be interested in them? hmm I know his now new friend. Job for the boys continues don't be deluded.
Don’t hold your breath, he is not that rich, just a youngish salaried man!
Typo :-)
