Firstly i see no point in being pesimistic, i will just cause prolonged anger and pain.
I see a lot of things making it a optimistic view right now.
Maybe thats contrast, as things did look rather dark for a while
Regarding withholding info
In business sometimes you need to protect people from information.
Telling just shareholders does not happen, You tell shareholders and its also telling competitors, shorters, markets, HOPe and OMF, and every other person or company that can use that information for their own needs. That includes putting a negative spin on things (although some of this did not need any spin)
So i am happy to ask the question when this all comes to a head, but i feel that the secrets, whether we like or agree to them being withheld were for the good of the company. It could be argued it was to protect the huge amounts Zaza has put in, but does that not also protect the amounts we have put in.
I do not like the information that should have been shared, however i am fairly content that it was withheld for the right reasons.
Thats the same now too, no barrister would allow FRR to be releasing any info whilst such a pivotal case is ongoing. Any info could be used against us. Zaza must act short term to protect us longterm.
We need keep the faith, cross fingers and hope for the best.
Meanwhile momentum seems to be moving in FRR favour rather than Hope/ OMF
Interesting that some have complete faith in Zaza despite the concealment of information that would have had considerable bearing on the level of risk we investors would have been prepared to take had we the known the full facts.
Also there seems to have been an almost dismissal of the SH/OR chances of winning this case.
I certainly hope that the above is not just ill founded optimism based on the little and out of date info gleaned by our sleuths and that we do have the upper hand.
Positive news in the next 10 days or so will be very welcome. A lot, maybe too much, riding on this for many.

I completely agree with Pyro and Bezzy. Zaza and SN have a reputation to keep with the small investors as well as the Super Majors. I have complete faith in them. We might still get some minor hiccups but in the end we will be there.

Evening Pyro,
My thoughts are close to that of yours. Despite the apparent withholding of key information in the past, I believe that Zaza & Steve are alligned with the shareholders, themselves holding considerable shares themselves (in the billions). We're going through a bit of a shi**y period at the moment, but I expect things to improve soon.
They could inflate salaries and suppress dividends. However I don't think they will. They could also try and extract the asset from the company and leave us holding an "empty box". However, the aspiration in play is to be partnering with one or more "super majors". We think one is BP, based on court information uncovered. I don't think that BP (or any other ethical super major) would wish to partner with a company that seeks to shaft its shareholders. This is where I take some comfort.
It is quite possible that we may remain a private company as per the RNS around Christmas time. Whilst not ideal (as it would prove difficult to realise our investments in the company), I would settle for this if the dividend level was anything near MadPunter's previously calculated outcomes. Lets face it, the dividend leve s/he indicated is actually multiples of our investment levels (no matter when you realistically invested). We would therefore effectively get our investments back on payment of such a dividend - and be on a free-ride thereafter.
Not much longer me thinks before positive news starts to flow.

No, we still own a share of the company.
They could feasibly, pay themselves huge wages a fleece us like that, but we could organise legal claims.
This does not appear to be a plan to scam shareholders from investment. This appears to be a plan to safeguard the company from a loan shark and to protect all those genuinely involved.
Conspiracy theories will of course materialise as its a worry for many who may fear the worst.
I think Zaza and SN are out to protect their and our money from HOPE/ OMF period
Surely the fact that they are listed doesn’t matter as they still have shareholders and legally can’t just picket the money
