Pity so little buying is going on.

If those in the centre of the action had confidence in a deal surely the shares would move up - even at a snails pace. What is happening in the market tells us what is happening out there in Houston or wherever - eg Nichts!

In all honesty, right now, I would expect the last place to find the CEO, commercial director and legal key staff, is sitting in the Nassau office answering the telephone and doing the photocopying. They will be having important discussions in Houston and travelling to meetings, arranging finance in London and elsewhere, and meeting Macquarie who are pulling together a deal. It's a busy busy time.

Don't like this. The obvious conclusion is game over, but may not be right. There could be high level talks elsewhere but even then, you would think someone would be left at the only office. I expect SP) to dive.

IP address stems from 12th October.
Where you implied somm and Neptune shared an IP address.
Also referenced the type of accommodation.
Was not your finest hour scully.

Made note monday but was in a tranche of posts dropped from the BB. Presume this was an IT glitch as no negative reference or improper use of language.

I see the same old on here. Couple months and it will be lights out at this rate or HUGE dilution. Sub 1p worth a punt, imo we will have that come end of November, just as I said the 1.4p would be broken below. Sitting on my hands for a buy in but not looking good here anything over 1p

Mr Neptunes IP address? Nope that's something you made up. I made no mention of IP address or locations or anything. Feel free to date/timestamp this/these alleged post/s. You like to tell fibs don't you.

yes jim,s post was a good one and regarding writing themoney off
that has been my position for years
but we are now in the most interesting time, ever
and my belief is that it will come good as that is how i viewed it
a long time ago,and my position stays unchanged
regarding some personality clashes ,there are always those
in life that require that particular type of thing
unfortunately,and there always was

Jim - sensible post without referencing other posters. We were sitting for many months at well under the penny before the notification of exclusive talks. There will be plenty of people here still sitting on a profit, whilst there are plenty caught up in the belief (I know some will say hype) that those exclusive talks would come to fruition.

We are where we are. There is no fat lady singing, your comment regarding finances is correct in that there is plenty enough to keep the lights glowing for a while until that all important financing deal can be hammered out.

This is still very much a high risk, though the potential rewards are mind-blowing. This is a risky business but as you say we are in a politically stable area (some may say "Stable - Trump is president!!!" and all we need to be worried about is the windy season.

Still all to play for - money has been out of my bank account for so many years that it is written off anyway.

Stay safe all. B

Scully12345 - thank you very much. :-) You're too kind to think soo highly of me, to again, pluck me from obscurity to comment. It was indeed pure luck on my part to buy in again at such a low average, to then bail out in profit and with a free carry. Unfortunately, rather like your comment in regards to you having my I.P address, your assumption in relation to my initial stake, is woefully below par.

Maybe if you had become my fan boi sooner, some of my luck would have rubbed off on you. Sorry to see your third attempt at lowering your average has meant you have made a loss :-)

I guess you will be spending the whole night and early morning selling this share even though the market is closed?

Could I ask that tomorrow you post (from the goodness of your heart) on this free BB that you have bought in again? I'm sure it must be that time again. ;-)

Frustrating

As much as it’s not pleasant and is most certainly frustrating by what seems like an eternity of not knowing, we need to remember that it hasnt actually been that long since we exited the exclusivity agreement and it certainly hasn’t been a long time with respect to concluding a deal with any third party.

Remember;
The current sp is no verification of actual business activity, it’s only a reflection of market sentiment.
We have world scale assets.
The price of oil is now very favourable.
We are close to existing well established oil producing regions and the benefits that can bring to servicing any operations.
We are talking to multiple companies.
We are in a politically stable region, this on not Venezuela or Nigeria.
Close proximity to USA.
Have enough money to continue through to completion of well financing options.
Have a global market leader on board with a track record of concluding deals of this nature.
It’s officially hurricane season for at least another 5 or 6 weeks.

The recent exclusive oil major set out on a journey with us in early May, stating it will work with us for between 3 & 6 months. Ok, so it chose to only stay exclusive for 4 months but why a max of 6? It knew regardless of events it couldn’t do anything until hurricane season was over.

Other than to give us PI’s a boost, who on earth does it benefit by announcing a deal when there’s absolutely nothing anyone can do about drilling? The answer, no one.

Should a deal in principal be done behind the scenes with someone, what stops them doing what is required to get a drilling rig on site? Nothing. They can do this in their own time without the focus or nuisance of the outside world.

It’s far too early to be writing this company off and if anything, there are a lot of signs to say we are actually approaching a very exciting time with the potential release of news getting very real now.

Don’t be dragged down and mentally beaten by the current sp, it’s but a number. Look at what we have going for us, look at real world factors innplay, apply a little logic and start to believe again. I feel something is coming relatively soon.

Mr Neptunes did well buying into this at 1p (£25 worth with his £1.50 share save plan) then selling at 7p for his whopping £150 profit!

Well done Mr Neptunes and good show deramping this for your 1p re-entry!

Scsiborg,

I think your point around taking on outside help is very critical here. I'm quite sure Macquarie can broker a deal on behalf of BPC. They have track record. However, the key issue is what remit have they been given by the CEO? If he's told them to get "the moon & the stars", we've got a problem. However, if the remit is commercially sensible for all parties concerned, I think a deal will be struck.

I didn't like the "I don't know why they've ceased exclusivity" comment. To my mind, I can't believe that is the case. I believe he knows but could not say, and rather than say "I can't say, NDA etc, etc", he blurted out "I don't know". If that is the case, he should have corrected himself - at the time or later. I think he would have garnered more respect then.

For what it's worth, I believe (and hope) we are in negotiations with multiple parties and I hope for a joint deal to be announced in the not-too-distant future.

All IMO. GLA
