Malcy's blog ...
Wed 23:04
My personal opinion of the meeting is that it was perhaps to subdue the masses and leave a lot of ambiguity instead of the company having to revert to an RNS to quell the rumour mill.

As for an earlier poster suggesting a sell off - we had less than 3 million reported sales vs a million reported buys. The price drop was fairly minimal with so many doom mongers about at the moment.

The price may drop further but who is to say it may not rise. I do not see this as a time to panic. Malcy was fed what the company wanted = nothing. Not sure who wanted to have the meeting - Malcy or BPC.

We have until October to either energise or demoralise those on the boards.

You pays your money - you takes your chance!!!

I agree that most success in domains with highly uncertain outcomes like investing in AIM stocks is dirtier luck. Successfull people in these domains are overconfident dnd underestimate the downside risk.

You make your own luck by trying to pick bottoms and tops on aim market. ... straight talking, reality, numbers, price action that's all that counts. ...as for so called professional in the market. Tip sheets and pensions is all you need to know how bad they are. Tip sheets over many years tip hundreds of shares, get the odd one right, tell you to buy when shares have already gone up. They sell and then tell you to sell when share price has gone down and then you pay for the privelage. Them naughty so called professionals. Lol

That's very philosophical for a financial forum, Private_Investor. Great to read.

I'm a big believer in chance too. It can be easy to put success down to skill, and failures down to luck, but the truth is, of course, that luck plays a large role in everything.

Keith 1.

There are many professionals who do very well investing in AIM listed companies. Over the years i have met some, been given tips - often ignored - by some. Been extremely fortunate with others.

I like to think some of the success is skill and knowledge but am honest enough to put most down to luck.

I was lucky to be educated.
I was lucky to have a job that afforded me opportunities.
I was lucky to live at a time when investing like this was possible.
I was lucky my parents met...that their parents met...random chance traced back millenia makes all of what i do blind luck.

Therefore i don't worry about the losses. I don't gloat about the success.

Wow that got ranty sorry.

All just luck.
Pros play Aim too.

Yes ..add on greed, fear, blatant ramping, blatant derampers and plenty of turnip heads and black humour and we get people who think they are professional. Lol

Don't let anything on these BBs get to you..It's like the street you meet friendly curtious people and the other kind..I worked in investment banking for many years but after my first year on these BBs I didn't mention it anymore..it was taken as "my view is more important than yours..To be fair it's sometimes not easy to get a sense of the person ..I attended a meeting years ago and met a poster who I felt negative about..turns out he was a really nice guy and we are friends to this day..Anyway..with your record.on picking winners.we should do well here too..gla

Interesting king ........so you are all in a stock that has risen 500% in the last 3 months, has a 100 million market cap billion shares in issue and is on the ruthless manic depressive aim market. ..as kev says that is not sensible for a so called professional. ................

Wow I will not stoop to conquer - possibly someone else might comment on whether as an ex pro (retired with rather a lot of money) I shouldn’t deserve a bit of courtesy rather than what sounds like jealous haranguing
I simply try to add value to the less experienced on these boards.
Oh by the way. - bought intel/amazon/Cisco before they were household names.
Oh and did a 1.2 billion deal in the 80’s with 2 names that because of professional integrity I cannot possibly name.
GL all you other LTH.

RE: Malcy's interview with BPC
Wed 16:33
“I met up with Eytan Uliel, Commercial Director of BPC yesterday as he is in London talking to investors about current events.”

Are there any institutional investors in the stock? If not, whom is Eytan meeting than? I doubt tha the co can provide any share price sensitive onfo to a selected number of shareholders. Also I cant see that Malcy is withdrawing oane +ve or -ve info. It is normal in my view that the deal which could lead to a substantioal multi bullion $ profits would take 3-6 month to negotiate. Buy on dips below 5p

With every passing day I'd say that it's increasingly likely the next RNS we get will be confirmation of another 1-month rollover... the first rollover was obviously viewed as positive by the market, any thoughts on whether the market will have an opinion either way on the 2nd?

Plus Chinese put 25% Tariff on all US crude.

US - China trade war getting ugly.

Now Trump got a new front;

US - Turkey sanctions & retaliatory boycott.

Contagion risk spreading...to rest of emerging markets.

US Dollar flared up....all commodities & markets tanking.

you have done these deals
if that were true you would also know
that every deal is different
also you would not be wasting your time with an aim company
it is hardly the thing such proffesionals stoop to
and no proffesional would sit all his eggs in one basket
and now you can awaken from your dream

Agree entirely Royscot. There is noting in this blog to sway me either way but certainly nothing that would make me think sh*t, must offload now.

I bought into this on the massive potential which is still there, I was just hoping for some little snippets of info over and above what we already know. We were obviously not going to get RNS value info but as far as I can tell we got nothing, nada, zilch... I can wait :-) GLA

monoco65, dropping like a stone? Seriously, what planet are you on?

If anyone sold their shares on the back of the paragraph full of guesswork and supposition by Malcy then I'm sorry to say they deserve to lose out on any deal.

Disagree, he's assisting in everyone research. It's good to have that, if he was bad then there would be no appetite for his blog.
I'm a big fan of his and Doc's, although your own research should be primary it's good to have secondary information to hand.
VOX markets - I'm still undecided though they have made a few good calls.
