Yes she clearly admits mining is under her jurisdiction and she has got to engage in activity to replace it to provide employment and so on!
Aha yes here we go. Great news. At last this will go in front of a court. I imagine judgment won't arrive till around the election at the earliest. If this conwoman Ribera and the rest of the clowns get booted out a new government should permit anyway. Or if God forbid Ribera comes back she'll have to commit public funds to appeal any judgement in BKY's favour. That could be tricky even for a brass necked idiot, time could be up for her quite soon.
https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/BKY/permitting-update-otdisj5q6q3w0c6.html
The key word is contentious,
There is enough evidence given in this interview Ribera will have to defend in court, their approach is ideological!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbxsC9UCIho&t=196s
What's the Advisory Committee actually done I wonder? Substantially strengthened BKY's position and greatly assisted - yes, but how?
You are destroying your country!

Whilst we all stand here scratching our heads watching a slow car crash!
So Spain are all in on renewables and battery storage, just how much back door cheating will they engage in whilst funding this expensive folly on the back of the gullible Spanish tax payer? You watch they will still be taking Nuclear from the French grid and paying more for the pleasure - morons!
Got a job in manufacturing and turn up for work and possibly be sent home, sorry we have an energy deficit today - it's coming after 2030.
I am half way through listening to this,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6b0RzXguJrA
All I can say another boring folly, the words are English but it makes no sense to me!
So I decide to look around their website and see no mention of Uranium!
https://www.irena.org/Energy-Transition/Outlook
'IRENA’s World energy transitions outlook charts an evolving pathway to achieving a climate-safe future in line with the goals of the Paris Agreement. Its 1.5°C pathway offers a roadmap for accelerating the global energy transition by positioning electrification and efficiency as key drivers of change, backed by renewables, hydrogen and sustainable biomass.'
Just what type of world are these people proposing, how does heavy industrial manufacturing exist, I can only conclude it will not be required in the future.
Nothing here represents the ascent of humanity, get used living in those 15 minute City's and Central Bank Digital Currency!
I wonder if they have each other on speed dial?
https://edinburghcentre.org/team/anne-marte-bergseng
Are you there Broxy dear chap?
Just think how much money, how many billions they are allocating to renewables!
Wind and solar captures and then stored in batteries!
Turbines requires metal and concrete and solar requires silver, this means mines!
The transfer to battery requires more copper and thus mines.
Battery storage requires more mining and is it safe to have that amount of energy stored as accidents can happen or terrorists can target it and if successful there is then an energy deficit.
Does anyone stop and think these things out?
What a fantastic amount of capital and finance being wasted on this folly and excuse the pun, how do they ‘recover’ from this big mistake - when do they hit the point of no return.
Places like China, India and South Korea will have cheap abundant energy and Ribera is throwing the Spanish people off the cliff!
I just find watching her a totally gross, inept and arrogant individual!
Ribera's so duplicitous. Lots of vague waffling around the desertification issue she's supposed to be addressing (eg people leaving places like Retortillo for lack of opportunity). At the same time she's preventing the solution (in Retortillo it's BKY's project) so as to further her counterproductive vanity policy of non nuclear. And acting unlawfully doing so. She seems almost proud to be sacrificing the opportunity for the area. Appalling.

Perhaps by starting at home in practicing what you preach!
A great discussion by Dom Frisby and also covers Spain to.
Once they stop mining they will be forgotten skills forever and then where do we get mined materials from?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WICrBGzg5t8
Ribera is a very dangerous individual!
I think it is a romance to the voters, they are in love with this utopia she presents them!
They want that dopamine rush and will keep believing it until they are living in absolute poverty and can't put food on the table and even then it will not be their fault - it will be Donald Trump's fault or Putin's fault!
And the voters need to adios her asap
So I have listened to this interview twice,
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MbxsC9UCIho&t=196s
A lot of if's, wishful thinking and pursuit of a green socialist utopia!
11mins 48secs in she admits mining is under her portfolio on the energy side in a totally dismissive manner! With that statement the success or failure of Spain is now on her head, she is now accountable personally!
15mins 50 secs, Green Finance she just talks words, its all words and the cult of earth worship.
19mins in and she is back on the mining subject but coal mining, however in her mind is she getting uranium mining conflated with coal mining. It is all very revealing in her mindset, it is ideological.
We need to get her into court and make her accountable for her decisions!
Even more research
https://www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2022/11/02/business/europe-industrial-might-decline/
What is Ribera proposing the abandoning of manufacturing within the EU and Spain because of the energy costs.
I can see Mexico becoming more prosperous in Spain at some point.
In fact the more this climate change green communism is investigated the further back in my chair I sink!
https://www.climatechangenews.com/2022/12/13/eu-strikes-internal-deal-to-tax-carbon-at-its-borders/
So I have just popped over to Turkey to check on their Nuclear developments!
https://www.al-monitor.com/originals/2023/01/turkey-plans-expand-renewable-energy-sticks-coal-nuclear
(Commenting on the plan, Bengisu Ozenc, director of the Sustainable Economy and Finance Studies Association, argued that the use of fossil fuels could be reduced faster with a higher renewable energy capacity.
Expanding the use of renewable energy is crucial for Turkey, Ozenc told Al-Monitor, underscoring the far-reaching ramifications of dependency on imported energy. “Renewable energy investments are important to avoid the cost of imported fuel and improve the current account balance,” she said. “But there is another increasingly important impact, which is on inflation. At a time when high inflation is a global problem, we see that renewable energy investments are brought to the fore in fighting inflation.”)
Two words in all of that stick out, 'SHE SAID' !
However we live in a cradle to cradle society stuck in perpetual childhood happy to own nothing and eat ze bugs!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kzq15y2J4UM
I understand the crossover age is about 45 (when the majority have sufficient knowledge and experience of life reality the world the economy and the jobs market, to abandon the sort of cobblers Ribera spouts)
Oops forgot to put in the link
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xIiXYixHZgs&t=1882s
Well flundra when other counteries are producing cheaper, more abundant and reliable energy their economy will boom on the back of output and their people will have cheaper domestic energy prices.
Spain is under green communism tyranny and ask how the young people feel about it and they love it.
We'll all have to keep sucking up those petrol fumes whilst views like hers hold sway in government.
There can't be much of a mandate for her nonsense surely. In fact was there ever?
'In statements to EFE news agency in April, Ribera said that the recovery should be done with "green" and "solidary" measures.[28] She then called for a "Green New Deal" for Spain to both further environmentalism and help the country get out of the national lockdown.'
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teresa_Ribera
Do the Spanish people realise who have they voted to represent them may not represent their best interests?
I listened to her in this interview, she appears from around 17 mins and I fell on the floor listening to her rhetoric! An out of depth WEF/UN puppet do gooder!
@PAUL1DEANO The announcement did not detail the base of decision. However it did mention MITECO had not factor in the update information, which I believe BKY tried to address MITECO's original rejection.
Anyways, political stance is usually stubbon to change, just like Joe Biden's anti fossil fuel policy (e.g., begging the Arabian to pruduce more crude but refraining the American to develop). Politician will try everything to justify themselves even though they see their wrongdoings and stupidity.
Agree to the opinion here that BKY likely needs to go through independent arbitration. Patience is needed.
Well Ribera she is putting all her eggs into this basket,
https://www.reuters.com/markets/commodities/spain-invest-69-bln-euros-renewables-green-hydrogen-energy-storage-2021-12-14/
Can't the people of Spain see they are paying way more for their energy than they really need to?
It is probably beyond the comprehension of many people out there, people in China, South Korea, India and Indonesia will be having a better standard of living than the people of Spain.
