2 weeks since permit queries

replied to by us.
Here's hoping as they were answers to Government dept queries raised about the applications things are moving faster now.
I think we should expect three separate RNS's.
One about the application to re-work the two existing wells.
One about the application to re-work the next two wells.
One for the IPPC permit which surely will be granted as it was previously if it were not for a procedural issue.
If the IPPC permit is not granted I will be assuming corruption is involved.
Any one of the above should see the sp vastly improove.
All IMHO.

INA don't need the IPPC as they would just pump all the gas to Molve as now, the IPPC is only required to build a gas treatment plant and INA already have one with capacity to deal with the gas from Lendava.

What is sure is that when news is eventually released, there is going to be a hell of a mighty rise up in the SP. AST will return to number one on the LSE chat board. We will see new people, old people, hysterical people. It will be like Noah’s Ark on here. Absolute bedlam.

Any investor thats watched a decline in sp for 12 months is going to lose their mind.

At buddhist class we look at events not at face value but we look deeper to see the lesson to learn. I hope the lesson is patience 😊.

Ina wouldnt have extended the contract if they thought the whole thing was bull s h it ... the market didnt even acknowledge it.

No one internal can buy shares due to on going strategic review - I guess it would be considered insider trading.

No consolidation plans as of yet and if so would need shareholder approval

No dividends are planned in the short term although when well into second phase the company intends to make this a goal

No updates yet regarding re-entry on additional wells but if this happens in the interim they will be announced.

Monthly updates regarding production rates are still on course.

Thanks FX. Your scenario makes me feel a bit better. Mine is depressing, but all too real in the current political climate.

Old Chinese proverb: Green light - go. Red light - go around it.

The INA route is getting around the Russian problem as it would indeed be very difficult to go against them. Currently INA are providing a weak solution in that AST can sell small quantities to them that can currently be produced. Hopefully they will also be involved through the Strategic Review to get things moving more quickly.

If the data from pg10/11 proves up the commerciality of the field it doesnt really matter about the ruskies, someone will want the resource and they will sell it and make money. Petrol/ geo/ ast will just be thinking how do we move this forward. Blue chips just want to make money and an asset sitting and not being utilised isnt capitalism. Ruskies contract still doesnt fully supply slovenia ... i think its just slovenia being slow as f ck ... its across the board in alot of these ex soviet blocks. Take britain for example ... ongoing brexit. I know its not apple to apple ... but for all our so called advancement we cant even decide on the direction of a policy wnd what it should look like.

My faith is in the asset. I know its worth more than 17 mil. If we can the permits to restimulate the existing that would be fab and would be a huge move forward in terms of revenues.

Ruskies have cut deals across europe ... look at tge connection and mirky circumstances around stream 2 and germany, which isnt a small fish.

Ina and petrol may come to an agreement to get this project moving.

Happy friday all.

The reason for the lack of urgency now? It would seem the Russian government has made it very good for Slovenia to buy from them under the recently extended import contract. The Russians would also emphasize the benefit of keeping the Petisovci gas under ground for Slovenia's future energy security. And I'm sure the Russians made it personally worthwhile for individual politicians who make the decisions. The consequence of that would not be good for Ascent Resources. Some would not wish to think of that as a possible scenario but doing just that has allowed Colin to find the alternative route of selling to INA. Maybe Colin is not as bad as some may think. After all the Russians are a major adversary and have considerable influence.

Came across this link whilst checking up on strategic petroleum reserves for eu countries, it’s an old link but Petišovci field in listed briefly on page nine.
Could Slovenia be one of Clive’s illustrious ten?

Nothing mentioned ... just update would be given when possible.

If they did disclose ndas signed etc via rns ... they dont want anything to push this price up until the ink hits paper.

Then it all depends on how the pie is cut up. I do hope they at minimum look for the capital invested to be returned as part of any agreement.
