Treasury shares
On 7 September 2016, the Company transferred a total of 6,616 ordinary shares at £2.72 per share to a number of participants in its 2013 Sharesave Scheme. These shares were previously held as treasury shares.
Following the above transactions, the Company holds 11,959,825 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 652,577,181 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
