Tiger Resource Finance PLC07 January 2008 Tiger Resource Finance plc. Transaction in Own Shares Tiger Resource Finance plc ("Tiger" or the "Company") announces that on 4January 2008, the Company purchased 2,250,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in theissued share capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 3.40 penceper Ordinary Share. These Ordinary Shares are to be held as treasury stock. Following the above purchase, the Company holds 29,500,000 Ordinary Shares intreasury and the total issued share capital of the Company less treasury sharesis 172,571,939 ordinary shares. This purchase was made pursuant to the authority granted by shareholders at theCompany's Annual General Meeting held on 1 August 2007. To date 29,500,000shares have been repurchased under this authority.
