Abbey PLC14 December 2007 Abbey Plc (the 'Company') Share Buy Back Abbey Plc announces that on 14 December 2007, it purchased 60,000 ordinaryshares of €0.32 each in the issued share capital of the Company ('OrdinaryShares') at €5.85 per share for cancellation. Following the above the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue is 28,734,523.
