Transaction in Own Shares

On 18 January 2016 the Company purchased 4,000,000 of its own ordinary shares for cancellation at a price of 96.5p per share.

Following this purchase and cancellation the Company's issued share capital will consist of 168,350,374 ordinary shares. The total number of shares with voting rights in the Company will therefore be 168,350,374. The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company.
