Tiger Resource Finance PLC19 October 2006 Tiger Resource Finance p.l.c. Transaction in Own Shares Tiger Resource Finance plc ("Tiger" or the "Company") announces that on 18October 2006, the Company purchased 1,700,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in theissued share capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 3.8 penceper Ordinary Share. These Ordinary Shares are to be held as treasury stock. Following the above purchase, the Company holds 6,750,000 Ordinary Shares intreasury and the total issued share capital of the Company less treasury sharesis 194,131,939 ordinary shares. This purchase was made pursuant to the authority granted by shareholders at theCompany's Annual General Meeting held on 25 June 2006.
