Transaction in own shares

Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") announces that on 15 September 2014 it purchased 30,000 of its own ordinary shares of 5p each at an average price of 2160 pence per share. The purchased shares will be cancelled.

Following the above purchase of shares, Caledonia's issued share capital includes 55,381,017 ordinary shares of 5p each with voting rights.
