Beowulf Mining plc ("the Company") 31 July 2007

In accordance with FSA's Disclosure & Transparency Rules, the Company advises that following the issue of 150,000 shares pursuant to the exercise of warrants during July 2007, its issued share capital comprises 66,548,247 ordinary shares of 1p each. The voting rights of all of these shares are identical.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Beowulf Mining plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules
