Total Voting Rights: Month-end Disclosure

Cable & Wireless Communications Plc (the "Company") confirms that as of 30 April 2016, its issued share capital consists of 4,475,953,616 Ordinary Shares of US$0.05 nominal value with voting rights ("Ordinary Shares").

The Company holds 107,488,873 Ordinary Shares in treasury.

Therefore, as at 30 April 2016 the total number of voting rights in the Company is 4,368,464,743. Shareholders may use this figure as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules ("DTR").
