Declaration of Third Interim Dividend

The Directors of the Company have today declared a third interim dividend in respect of the year ending 31 December 2021 of 2.25p per Ordinary share of No Par Value (third interim for 2020: 2.25p). The third interim dividend will be payable on 18 November 2021 to Ordinary shareholders on the register on 22 October 2021, ex-dividend date 21 October 2021.

In light of an improving trend for dividend receipts from portfolio companies in 2021 and in the absence of unforeseen circumstances, the Board will aim to at least maintain the level of dividend paid to shareholders in respect of the year ending 31 December 2021 compared with the prior year. A decision in respect of the level of the fourth interim dividend, including the extent to which any revenue reserves may be used, will be taken at the time of the declaration of the fourth interim dividend in January 2022.

The Company operates a Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRIP) which is managed by the registrar, Link Asset Services, and the deadline for elections under the DRIP will be 28 October 2021.
