Quintessentially English PLC03 April 2006 Quintessentially English plc Temporary Suspension Quintessentially English plc (the "Company") is an investing company which wasadmitted to AIM prior to 1 April 2005 and raised less than £3 million onadmission. The directors of the Company are currently reviewing a number of potentialacquisition targets and will keep shareholders informed as and when furtherdevelopments occur. In the meantime as the Company has not yet made anacquisition which constitutes a reverse takeover under rule 14 of the AIM Rulestrading in the Company's share was today suspended. In the event that the Company does not complete an acquisition which constitutesa reverse transaction by 3 October 2006, the Company's shares will be cancelledfrom trading on AIM at that date.
