Wireless Group PLC19 April 2005 The Wireless Group plc ("TWG" or "the Company") Possible Offer for the Company The Independent Directors can confirm that TWG has entered into preliminarydiscussions with Ulster Television plc which may or may not lead to an offer forthe Company. The Independent Directors confirm that they have granted a period of exclusivityto Ulster Television plc while these exploratory talks take place. The Independent Directors (Keith Sadler, Stephen Davidson, and Patrick Cox) willconsider any formal offer on its merits if and when any such offer is made.Further announcements will be made by the Independent Directors as appropriate.
