French Government Announces Rebaudioside A (Reb A )Authorisation
PureCircle (LSE: PURE), the world's leading producer of Natural High Intensity Sweeteners, including Reb A, announces that the French Ministry of Economy, Industry and Employment has published authorisation for Reb A 97% purity and above, for use in food and beverage products sold in France. This single country authorisation has been granted in line with Directives (CE) number: 1333/2008 and 89/107/CEE which permit a member state to authorise ingredients as safe for use for a maximum of two years, pending Europe-wide approval.
