SISTEMA’S CLAIM AGAINST URAL-INVEST

Moscow, Russia – February 16, 2015 – Sistema JSFC (“Sistema” or the “Company”) (LSE: SSA) today announces that the Arbitrazh (Commercial) Court of the City of Moscow has upheld Sistema’s claim for the recovery of RUB 70.7 billion losses from LLC Ural-Invest. Sistema believes that the court’s ruling is fair and the Company will take all necessary actions to execute this decision.

In accordance with the court’s decision, the funds once recovered will be used for the Company’s investments in Russia, as well as for its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes in all regions where Sistema operates, including the Republic of Bashkortostan. Sistema is currently reviewing its existing CSR programmes in the Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as support of any new projects. The Company intends to consult the authorities of the Republic of Bashkortostan on this topic and extend the general cooperation agreement with Bashkortostan signed in 2009. Between 2009 and 2014, the Company allocated over RUB 6 billion to charitable causes in the region.
