Alternative Asset Opportunities PCC Limited (the "Company")

The Board announces that, in line with its strategy of continuing to keep policy sales under review, it is exploring the possibility of a sale of the portfolio and to that end has provided information on the Company's portfolio of policies to certain interested parties.

It should be emphasised that discussions are at a very early stage and accordingly there can be no assurances that any transaction will occur.

A further announcement will be made in due course.
