South African Property Opps PLC18 May 2007 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE South African Property Opportunities plc ("the Company") 18 May 2007 Re: Result of Extraordinary General Meeting The Company announces that at the Extraordinary General Meeting held earliertoday, shareholders approved the resolution to increase the authorised sharecapital in order to facilitate the issue of new ordinary shares under theplacing, details of which were announced on 1 May 2007. Accordingly, 32,292,810 new ordinary shares are to be allotted today under thePlacing, which has raised £33.5 million new funds for the Company, afterexpenses. It is expected that admission of such new ordinary shares to tradingon AIM, and to listing and trading on the CISX will commence on 22 May 2007.
