Regulation of the Investment Manager

CATCo Reinsurance Opportunities Fund Ltd. ("CATCo" or "the Company") today announces that CATCo Investment Management Ltd, CATCo's registered Bermuda investment manager retained by the Company to manage and invest the Company's capital, has today obtained a license under the Investment Business Act 2003 and as such is regulated by the Investments Division of the Bermuda Monetary Authority ("BMA").

The Investment Manager was also licensed as an Insurance Manager under the Insurance Act 1978 on 9 August 2010 and is regulated by the Insurance Department of the BMA.
