Renold PLC14 February 2005 Potential Acquisition Renold plc announces that it is in discussions with ZF Sachs AG which may leadto the acquisition of Sachs Automotive France, with a facility located at SaintSimeon de Bressieux, South East France. This potential acquisition would providethe platform for a European aftermarket business for Automotive chain products,also provide technology and assets which would enhance the development of theexisting OEM activity and add some 10% to the turnover of the Renold Automotivebusiness.
