Placing of Equity

Wishbone Gold Plc (AIM: WSBN), the AIM listed exploration and acquisition company focused on gold trading and acquisitions, today announces that it has raised £600,000 (before expenses) through a placing via its broker, Beaufort Securities Limited (the "Placing"), of 80,000,000 new ordinary shares of 0.001p each ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 0.0075p per Ordinary Share (the "Placing Shares"). The Company has also issued 5,000,000 warrants with an exercise price of 1.2p with a life of two years to Beaufort Securities Limited. 

 The proceeds of the Placing will be used for general working capital purposes and exploration. 

 The Company will make an application for the Placing Shares to be admitted to trading on AIM. It is expected that admission will become effective on 12 October 2016. 

 Following the issue of the Placing Shares, and for the purposes of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the Company's total issued share capital on admission of the Placing Shares will consist of 1,083,756,975 Ordinary Shares. 

 The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest, in or a change to their interest in, the Company, under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules. 

 Chairman and CEO, Richard Poulden, said: 

 "We are raising this funding to use for general working capital purposes and exploration. Our debt facilities are primarily limited to supporting the trading operations. The shares are being placed with a strategic investor who has been a long term supporter of the Company".
