Viridas PLC09 August 2007 VIRIDAS PLC (the "Company", formerly Caldwell Investments plc) Placing of 846,000 Ordinary Shares Viridas plc announces that it has successfully completed a further placing of846,000 Ordinary Shares of 10 pence each (the "New Shares") at a placing priceof 12.5 pence per share, which compares with the middle market price of 12 penceper share at the close of business on 6 August 2007. Application is being made for the New Shares to be admitted to trading on theAIM market of London Stock Exchange plc on 10 August 2007. The Placing has raised £105,750 before expenses which will provide additionalworking capital for the Company and in particular enable the Company to financethe future development of the Group's biodiesel feedstock project.
