Notification and public disclosure of transaction

Fundsmith Emerging Equities Trust plc has been notified that on 4 September 2017, Terry Smith, Chief Executive of Fundsmith LLP, the Company's AIFM and Investment Manager, purchased 30,000 ordinary shares of £0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 1156p per share.

As a result of the transaction, Mr Smith holds a total of 530,000 Ordinary Shares, representing an aggregate 2.15% of the Company's issued share capital.
