Guinness Peat Group plc ("the Company") announces that it has been informed by Morgan Stanley (Institutional Securities Group and Global Wealth Management) ("Morgan Stanley") that on 28 June 2011 Morgan Stanley's interest was reduced to below 3% of the Company's total voting rights.
