Gourmet Holdings PLC23 August 2005 GOURMET HOLDINGS PLC 23 August 2005 Notification of interest Gourmet Holdings plc (the "Company") has been informed today that the Hon.Robert A Rayne has purchased 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 1p each ("OrdinaryShares") in the share capital of the Company, representing 1.27 per cent. of theentire issued share capital of the Company. The Hon. Robert A Rayne is a Director of Westpool Investment Trust plc, whichcurrently holds 10,454,000 Ordinary Shares representing 13.25 per cent. of theentire issued share capital of the Company. The total interest of the Hon.Robert A Rayne and Westpool Investment Trust plc therefore comes to 11,454,000Ordinary Shares, representing 14.52 per cent. of the entire issued share capitalof the Company. Westpool Investment Trust plc is a subsidiary of LMS Capital Limited, a whollyowned subsidiary of London Merchant Securities plc. Accordingly, London MerchantSecurities plc and LMS Capital Limited are also interested in the 14.52 percent. holding in the Company.
