Regency Mines PLC24 April 2008 REGENCY MINES PLC Issue of EquityDated: 24 April 2008 Regency Mines plc ("Regency" the "Company") the mining exploration and mineralinvestment company with interests in copper and nickel in Western Australia,Queensland, and Papua New Guinea, has issued 17,500,000 new ordinary shares of0.1p each in the capital of the Company (the "Shares") at 2.25p per Share, toraise £393,750 before expenses, conditional on the Shares being admitted totrading on AIM. City Equities Limited has agreed to subscribe for 10,000,000 Shares at 2.25p perShare. Following the subscription, City Equities Limited will hold 10,000,000Shares, which is approximately 4.7% of the issued share capital as enlarged bythe placing. John Watkins, a director of the Company, has agreed to subscribe for 150,000Shares at 2.25p per Share. Following the subscription he will be interested in26,500,000 Shares which is approximately 12.4% of the issued share capital asenlarged by the placing. Andrew Bell, a director of the Company, has agreed tosubscribe for 100,000 Shares at 2.25p per Share. Following the subscription hewill be interested in 43,744,265 Shares which is approximately 20.4% of theissued share capital as enlarged by the placing. Following the issue of these Shares the Company's total issued share capitalwill be 214,440,662 Shares.
