SUB: ALLOTMENT OF EQUITY SHARES UNDER ESOP - AXIS BANK

We are pleased to inform that the Committee of Directors of the Bank have allotted 3,22,126 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each on 19th June, 2009 to the employees of the Bank, under ESOP. 

The paid up share capital of the Bank will accordingly get increased from 35,90,05,118 equity shares as on 31st March, 2009 to 35,97,63,733 equity shares.

Further, please note that the Bank had allotted total 41,297 equity shares during the month of April, 2009 and 3,95,192 equity shares during the month of May, 2009.
