ABCAM Plc02 August 2006 For immediate release 2 August 2006 Abcam plc ("the Company") Issue of Equity Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the admission to AIMof 76,880 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company pursuant to the exercise ofoptions granted under the Abcam Employee Share Option Scheme.
