EMED Mining Public Limited08 November 2006 8 November 2006 EMED Mining Public Limited ("EMED" or "the Company") Significant Shareholding The Company was notified on Friday 3 November that City Equities Limited ("CityEquities") had subscribed for 3,000,000 new ordinary shares in EMED in theCompany's fundraising announced on Monday 30 October at a price of 8.5 pence pernew ordinary share resulting in City Equities' holding in the share capital ofthe Company standing at 3.25%. The new ordinary shares issued under the placingwere admitted to trading on AIM on Thursday 2 November. On Thursday 2 November, City Equities then sold 2,751,500 ordinary shares inEMED to certain of its clients resulting in it no longer having a disclosableholding in the share capital of the Company.
