Notification of interests in shares/holding of voting rights
On 16 July 2008, the Company was notified that as a result of the acquisition by Artemis Management Services Limited ("AMSL"), a company in which Mr and Mrs James Slater are directors of and have a controlling interest in, of 11,000,000 ordinary shares of 1p each ("Ordinary Shares") in the capital of the Company, AMSL now has an interest in 19,000,000 Ordinary Shares and has the right to exercise 4.15 % of the voting rights in the Company.
The interests of Mr and Mrs James Slater in Ordinary Shares, and the number of voting rights exercisable by them, have not changed as a result of the acquisition of Ordinary Shares by ASML.
