Group PLC17 January 2005 Notification of major interests in shares N Brown Group plc ('the Company") The Company was advised on 17th January 2005 that FMR Corp. and its direct andindirect subsidiaries and Fidelity International Limited (FIL) and its directand indirect subsidiaries, both being non-beneficial holders had increased thenumber of ordinary shares held by them in the Company to 38,134,128 ordinaryshares of 10p each.
