Pure Wafer PLC04 January 2006 4 January 2006 PURE WAFER PLC ("Pure Wafer" or "the Company") Grant of Options The Board of Pure Wafer announces that 88,272 options were granted yesterday toapproximately 40% of the Company's employees. The grant of options is part ofthe Company's 3 year SAYE scheme. The options have been granted at a price of227p, based upon a discount of 20% to 283.5p which was the share price at thebeginning of the offer and are exercisable after three years from the date oftheir grant within a six month period. No awards were made yesterday to membersof the Board of the Company.
