Pittards PLC20 April 2006 Pittards plc announces that yesterday it posted a circular to all shareholderscontaining revised proposals (the 'Revised Proposals') regarding the terms onwhich it proposes dealing with the deficit on the Group's Pension Schemes andconvening an Extraordinary General Meeting and separate Class Meetings of theholders of the Ordinary and Preference shares (the 'Meetings') to be held on 12May 2006 at the Company's premises in Sherborne Road, Yeovil. The Meetings will be the resumed meetings, originally convened to be held on 13April, which were adjourned until 12 May to allow time for discussion with majorshareholders. The Directors unanimously recommend that the resolutions to implement theRevised Proposals are supported by shareholders.
