JARDINE STRATEGIC HOLDINGS LIMITEDinterim dividend payment  15th October 2008 -- Jardine Strategic Holdings Limited today announced that the payment of the interim dividend of US¢5.90 per share to shareholders registered on the Company's register of members in Bermuda and branch registers in Jersey and Singapore has taken place on 15th October 2008.The payment of the interim dividend to those investors holding their shares through The Central Depository (Pte) Limited in Singapore has been deferred by one day due to a bank administrative error and will be paid on 16th October 2008.
