This is to inform that a meeting of the Board of Directors of GAIL (India) Limited is scheduled for Monday, the 17th December, 2007, to inter-alia, consider the proposal of Interim Dividend for Financial Year (FY) 2007-08. It is further informed that the 'RECORD DATE', for the purpose of determining the eligibility of the members of the Company for the payment of the InterimDividend for FY 2007-08, if approved by the Board, has been fixed for Saturday,the 22nd December, 2007 and is proposed to be paid from 26th December, 2007onwards.
