Amiad, the producer and global supplier of water filters and filtration systems for the industrial, municipal and irrigation markets, announces that Tal Yeshua, Chairman, purchased 5,000 ordinary shares of 0.5 NIS each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company on 9 February 2011 at a price of 215 pence per share.

Following this purchase, Mr. Yeshua has an interest in 5,000 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 0.2% of Amiad's issued share capital. As of 31 January 2011, Mr. Yeshua ceased to be interested in the 10,162,571 shares in the Company owned by Kibbutz Amiad, by reason of his ceasing to hold any office in the Kibbutz from such date.
