Notification under paragraphs 3.1.2R to 3.1.4R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules

Hill & Smith Holdings PLC ("Hill & Smith" or the "Company") announces that it has today received notification that Mrs D K Muir, the spouse of Mr D W Muir who is  a person discharging managerial responsibilities of Hill & Smith, purchased 25,000 ordinary shares in the Company earlier today at 181.0 pence per share.  This purchase was effected on the London Stock Exchange.

Following this purchase, Mr Muir is beneficially interested in 40,834 ordinary shares and has options over 258,114 ordinary shares.
