PERFORMANCE SHARE PLAN AWARDS
The Company announces that on 30 April 2009 the following Executive Directors were granted nil-cost options under the Cape plc 2007 Performance Share Plan over the Company's ordinary shares of 25 pence each on 30 April 2009, as follows:

Subject to certain performance conditions being met, the options will vest on a sliding scale basis on the third anniversary of the date of grant and may not be exercised later than the fifth anniversary of the date of grant. Such options which do not vest due to the performance conditions not being met will lapse.
