Augean, a major player in the UK hazardous waste management market, was informed yesterday that Roger McDowell, non-executive chairman, acquired 100,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") on 23 March 2010. Following the share purchase Mr McDowell is interested in 191,342 Ordinary Shares representing 0.19 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company.
