Director's Holding

Bacanora Minerals, the lithium and borates company with assets in Mexico, announces that Mr. Colin Orr-Ewing, Non-Executive Chairman of the Company, has informed the Company that he has an interest over 10,968,793 common shares ("Common Shares") in the Company, representing approximately 12.9 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.

Mr. Orr-Ewing's previously disclosed holding amounted to 9,958,683 Common Shares (representing approximately 11.7 per cent of the Company's issued share capital).

Mr. Orr-Ewing was made aware of his additional holding of 1,010,110 Common Shares in the Company following a review of his trust arrangements, with the previous disclosure being due to an administrative oversight whereby the administrator of a discretionary trust (over which Mr. Orr-Ewing had no control or direction) failed to inform Mr. Orr-Ewing of this holding.

The additional 1,010,110 Common Shares are held in a nominee account.
