Talvivaara Mining Company Plc ("the Company"), was notified on 02 January 2009 that, on 31 December 2008, Mr Graham Titcombe, Non-executive board member, bought 20,000 ordinary shares at an average price of 116.3p each.

Following these transactions, Graham Titcombe holds a total beneficial interest in the Company of 62,000 shares, representing 0.03 % of the voting rights attached to the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
