In accordance with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 3.1.4R (1) (a), Hays plc (the "Company") was notified that, on 18 June 2014, Paul Venables, a Director, exercised an option over 4,834 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the Company at an option price of 112p per share pursuant to the Hays UK Sharesave Scheme. All shares were retained on exercise.
