Director/PDMR Shareholding

Melrose Resources plc announces that it received notice on 29 August 2012 that on 24 August 2012 Skye Investments Limited, a company in which Mr. Robert Adair, Chairman, has a controlling interest, has placed 5,395,222 ordinary shares ("the Ordinary Shares") as security for borrowing arrangements held with Lloyds Banking Group. The Ordinary Shares were previously held as security for borrowing arrangements with HSBC Bank plc, from which security they have been discharged. The total number of shares owned by Skye Investments Limited which are held as security for borrowing arrangements is unchanged.
